Set Admin Permissions in Parish Life

Your parish staff can view information in Parish Life on mobile devices. You can set administrative permissions for your staff when you invite them or afterwords.
CAUTION: Administrators can see all parishioner data, even the information parishioners mark as "Private". This includes all names, addresses, email addresses, phone numbers, and birthdays. Make sure the admins you invite should be allowed to view this information.
  1. On the Information tab, click Parish Life.
  2. Select Update Administrators Status, then click Next.
  3. Make sure Set As Admin is selected at the bottom.
  4. Your current admins display in the grid. If you need to add one, click the add icon green plus sign above the grid, and enter the administrator's information.
  5. Select the admins whose status you want to update.
  6. Select whether the admin has edit or view-only rights to member information.
  7. Select whether the admin has view rights or no access to member giving information.
Note: Admins with view rights can see a family's contribution totals and each contribution, including dates, types, check numbers, and amounts.
  8. When you're ready to change these admin permissions, click Update.

Remove Admin Permissions

You may need to remove administrative permissions for personnel or volunteers who leave your parish.

  1. On the Information tab, click Parish Life.
  2. Select Email Invitation, select Administrators, then select Update Admin Status. Click Next.
  3. Select Remove Admin Status at the bottom.
  4. Your current admins display in the grid. If you need to add one, click the add icon green plus sign above the grid, and enter the administrator's information.
