Sync with Parish Life

Allow Parishioners to Give via Parish Life

Make sure you've set up Abundant as your eGiving provider. For steps, see Set Up Your eGiving Provider.

Using our online giving solution, Abundant, parishioners can give toward your parish's default fund within Parish Life. If you have Abundant set up in PDS, the Give Now button automatically displays to parishioners under their My Contributions section in Parish Life. There's nothing else you need to set up!

Parish Life uses the default form for parishioners to give toward. If needed, you can change the default form. You can also customize the colors to better match your parish's brand or to match Parish Life for a more seamless transition.

  1. Log in to your parish's Abundant account.
  2. In your list of giving forms, locate the one you want to make the default.
  3. Beside the giving form, click the ellipsis button (...), and select Make Default.

The default form displays in a new browser tab when parishioners click Give Now in Parish Life. Parishioners can enter a one-time gift or set up recurring gifts.

Once parishioners give, you can pull the transactions in to PDS using the eGiving quick posting.

Customize the Abundant Form

You can customize the colors to better match your parish's brand or to match Parish Life for a more seamless transition.
  1. Log in to your parish's Abundant account.
  2. Click the name of the giving form you want to customize.
  3. In the Design section, click Edit.
  4. Click the photo button to add your own image. This could be the same image you use as your logo in Parish Life.
  5. Select the background and accent colors you want. A preview displays on the right so you can see what it will look like.
    Note: To match your parish's brand colors, enter # and the 6-character HTML color code in the text box below the color swatches. If you'd like to match Parish Life, you can use any of the following values: #143E7C color swatch of a dark blue, #319ACF color swatch of a blue, #E1E8F1 color swatch of a light gray, #F6F9FD color swatch of an off-white.
  6. Make any other changes you want.
  7. Once the preview looks good, click Save at the bottom.
