Remove Profiles from Parish Life

You can remove people at your discretion so they are no longer able to use Parish Life. You may need to do this if a parishioner asks you to remove their profile or if someone is not using the portal according to your policies.

  1. On the Information tab, click Parish Life.
  2. Select Upload Member Information, and click Next.
  3. Select Upload Changes then Set Access to the App.
  4. Select Remove Member Accounts. Click Next.
  5. Use the selections to build a list of members you want to remove from Parish Life, then click Next.
Tip: If you only have one or two members to remove, click the Member Selections tab and select each one individually.
  6. Review your list. If needed, clear the checkbox beside anyone you don't want to remove. Click Next.
  7. If needed, enter your parish contact information.
  8. When you're ready, click Upload.

Remove Access to Parish Life

You can also remove access to the portal for all users without removing their profiles from Parish Life. You may need to do this temporarily in order to update information without user interference.
Note: To remove admin permission, see Set Admin Permissions in Parish Life.
  1. On the Information tab, click Parish Life.
  2. Select Upload Member Information, and click Next.
  3. Select Upload Changes then Set Access to the App.
  4. Select Do Not Allow Members to Log In. Click Next.
  5. Use the selections to build a list of members whose access you want to remove, then click Next.
  6. Review your list. If needed, clear the checkbox beside anyone who should still have access to Parish Life. Click Next.
  7. If needed, enter your parish contact information.
  8. When you're ready, click Upload.

The selected members will not be able to log in to Parish Life until you allow access again. The following message displays: "Your church administrator is not allowing access to Parish Life at this time. Please contact your church administrator." Try to finish what you need to do and allow access again quickly to avoid phone calls from parishioners.
