Tools

Tools are designed to save you time – whether they help you keep your data clean, prepare data for communications or reports, or speed up data entry. Each tool displays on specific pages, and you must have a security role to access them. See Configuring Tools for more information.

Select a tool in the navigation menu to learn more about it!

  • The Audit Log records changes made by tools on the related records as API User (on behalf of [Username]).
  • For those who enjoy mouse-free data entry, use the Tab key on your keyboard to navigate within a tool once you launch it. When you tab through the fields in a tool, you can either:
    • Use the arrow keys to select from a drop-down list, and then press Enter to make a selection.
    • Use the arrow keys to select from a drop-down list, and then press Tab to make selection and move the cursor to the next field at the same time.
  • Click the information icon at the top of the tool window for helpful information about the tool and its function.
  • Note that Tools do not honor global filters, with the exception of the Batch Manager Tool.
