New Message Tool
Use the New Message Tool to send emails and texts from MinistryPlatform.
- You can launch the New Message Tool from the My Messages tab on your Home page or from the Actions menu on any page where it's enabled.
- To select your Recipients before you launch the tool, use a selection. To select your Recipients after you launch the tool, use the search function.
- Depending on your Security Roles and Mass Email Quota, you can select whether to send an email or text message.
- Each Contact receives a unique email and can't see who else received the email.
- The Audit Log records and creates Message and Recipient records.
Note: Not seeing the New Message Tool? Check your staff's Security Roles to make sure they can send messages. The Mass Email Quota for at least one of their Security Roles should be greater than zero. Also, confirm that the Contact ID field is available on the page they try to send a message from.
