Images in Messages

In the New Message Tool, you can insert images with a reference URL.

Note: To insert an image directly from your computer or make images actionable, check out the Template Editor Tool!

To do this, most churches store images on a hidden page of their website. Others use an online file system, like Amazon Web Services S3, as long as you can get a direct, publicly accessible link to the image. Or, you can have your IT team upload the image to your server and provide you with the link.

To add an image, click the image button and enter the image URL. The URL must point directly to an image and not to a page that displays an image. For example, "https://ministryplatform.com/directory/images/my-image.png".

If there is an image that you use often (like a general email header), you could create a template with that image already included. That way, your staff members don't have to track down the URL every time!

Important: Make sure your images don't drastically increase your message size, as this can strain your Platform instance and cause slow response times.
