Messages

Save & Send a Draft Message

While working on a Message in the New Message Tool, you can save a draft and return to it later.

  • When you save a Message as a draft before you send it, you can find it in My Drafts.
  • Messages saved as Drafts do not send until you open the draft and send it. That is, you can't just change the Message record from Draft to Ready to Send.
To save a draft:
  1. In the New Message Tool, enter your message content.
  2. Make any other necessary selections.
  3. Click Send to open the menu, and select Save as Draft.
To send a draft:
  1. On the Home page, click the My Messages tab.
  2. Select the My Drafts view.
  3. Click the draft message you want to send.
  4. Select the recipients.
    Note: The send button doesn't activate until you select recipients.
  5. Click Send, and select Send.
