Print Tax Information on Universal Forms
You can print your 1099s and W-2s on tax forms provided by the program. This means you can insert blank paper in your printer, and the program prints the tax form as well as the tax information. You can print on universal forms either during the e-file process or when you process your Payroll End of Year reports.
Print on Universal Forms when E-Filing
- On the Transactions tab, click .
- Click the PDS Tax E-File Forms tab.
- If you're filing 1099s, select whether you want the 1099-MISC or 1099-NEC form.
- Click either 1099 E-File or W-2 E-File.
- Enter or select any necessary information, and click Save.
- If there is no missing information, a report wizard displays. To preview or print the tax form directly from this window, click Preview Report or Print Now.
- If you want to adjust printer or layout settings, click Next.
- If you want to e-file with the IRS, click Yes and complete the e-file process.
Print on Universal Forms without E-Filing
- On the Transactions tab, click .
- On the Tax Forms tab, click either Set Up and Print W-2s & W-3 or Set Up and Print 1096 & 1099s.
- In the Layout Style drop-down list, select the universal form option.
- Click Print.
