Track a Student's Progress

You can track a student's marks in certain categories or subjects for different reporting periods. For example, you can record that Tommy Johnson received an "A" in Class Participation for the fall semester.

Note: To enter progress for a group of students or a class/session, use the Student Progress quick posting.
  1. On the Information tab, click Students > Detail.
  2. Locate the Student Progress section.
    Note: If you don't see this section in the Detail window, you have not set up your student progress definitions. Instead, you should see a link that says Click for Student Progress Options. Click that link to set up your student progress definitions.
  3. Click the add icon green plus sign, and enter the information you want to track.
  4. At the top, click Save.

You can include student progress in permanent records. In the End of Year process, select Add this Year/Period Info to the Permanent Records to record the categories and marks for this period.
