View and Print Easy Lists
Easy Lists can answer questions such as "Who has a birthday this month?" or "Which individuals attended Baptism Preparation last Wednesday?" You can customize the fields you want to view in the list, place them in the order you want, and print the lists.
You can also create a letter, label, and/or envelope to send to everyone in your Easy List. For example, you can send a birthday letter for a particular month or a thank you letter to everyone who served in a particular ministry.
- On the Information tab, click Students > Easy Lists.
- Select the Easy List you want to view:
- Formation Attendance List – Shows student names, dates, sessions, types (absent or present), number of days, reasons, formation grades, family names, phone numbers and types, and whether the phone numbers are unlisted.
- Birthday List – Shows individual names, birth dates, ages, formation grades, and genders.
- Class List – Shows student names, family names, genders, formation grades, birth dates, sessions, how many days absent, how many days present, and whether the student is passing.
- Contact List – Shows student names, contact names, relationships, phone numbers and types, whether the phone numbers are unlisted, and formation grades.
- Different Last Names List – Shows individual names, member types, family names, phone numbers and types, and whether the phone numbers are unlisted.
- General Remarks List – Shows individual names, general remarks, whether they are students, whether they are catechists, and whether they are parents.
- Grade List – Shows individual names, formation grades, sessions, whether they are students, whether they are catechists, whether they are parents, phone numbers and types, whether the phone numbers are unlisted, and email addresses.
- Keyword List – Shows individual names, keywords, formation grades, sessions, whether they are students, whether they are catechists, whether they are parents, phone numbers and types, whether the phone numbers are unlisted, and email addresses.
- List of Parents – Shows parent names, relationships, genders, marital statuses, birth dates, phone numbers and types, whether the phone numbers are unlisted, and email addresses.
- List of Students – Shows student names, genders, birth dates, ages, formation grades, and sessions.
- Ministry List – Shows individual names, ministries, ministry statuses, ministry start and end dates, formation grades, whether they are students, whether they are catechists, whether they are parents, phone numbers and types, whether the phone numbers are unlisted, and email addresses.
- Parent Volunteer List – Shows parent names, volunteer areas, notes, relationships, genders, phone numbers and types, whether the phone numbers are unlisted, and email addresses.
- Preparation Class List – Shows parent names, relationships, preparation class names, whether they completed the classes, class dates, and number of sessions attended.
- Sacrament Information List – Shows student names, sacraments, sacrament dates, sacrament statuses, sacrament places, and sacrament place cities/states.
- Service/Retreat List – Shows student names, services/retreats, service/retreat dates, number of hours, formation grades, and birth dates.
- Talent List – Shows individual names, talents, talent statuses, talent start and end dates, formation grades, whether they are students, whether they are catechists, whether they are parents, phone numbers and types, whether the phone numbers are unlisted, and email addresses.
- User Keywords List – Shows individual names, formation grades, religion, disabilities, occupations, schools, districts, whether they are students, whether they are catechists, and whether they are parents.
- To filter your Easy List based on the available criteria, make your selections.
- Click Apply/OK.Applicable records display in the grid. Inactive and/or Deceased records display in red text.
- To change what displays in your Easy List, click Customize View.
- To add a column to your Easy List, select the field name from the list on the left, and click the right arrow button.
- To reorder columns, select the field name from the list on the right, and click the up or down arrow buttons.
- To return columns to the default view, click Default Values.
- Click Save/OK.Note: PDS saves and recalls your customized settings the next time you run this Easy List.
- To export the information in the grid, click Export List. You can choose from .csv, .xml, .txt, .xls, or .ods file types.
- To print a letter, label, or envelope based on the information from your Easy List, click Easy Letter.
- To see another Easy List, click Select a List.
