Delete a Group of Events

CAUTION: This process alters data. We recommend backing up your data before proceeding.

You can delete a group of past events if you no longer need them. We recommend periodically removing old events so the program runs more efficiently.

  1. On the Information tab, click Events > Processes > Delete Events.
  2. To delete events for a particular organization, select the organization from the drop-down list.
  3. To delete events for a particular facility, select the facility from the drop-down list.
  4. To delete a particular event, select the event name from the drop-down list.
    1. If you're only deleting old events, make sure to enter the date range. Otherwise, you might unintentionally delete future events that you want to keep.
    2. If you only want to delete the events that occur on a certain day of the week, select Only these days and select the day(s) you want.
  5. Select whether to delete the charges and payments for the event(s) you're deleting.
  6. Select what to do when an event you're deleting has unpaid charges.
  7. Click Next.
  8. Select the events to delete, then click Next.
  9. Review your selections, and click Finish.
  10. If needed, you can print a detailed list or summary of the deleted events.
