Post Catechist Years of Service

With this quick posting, you can enter start dates and the number of exception years (such as a sabbatical or leave of absence) for multiple catechists. These are used to calculate the years of service in the Attendance/History window.

  1. On the Personnel tab, click Catechists > Quick Posting > Years of Service.
  2. Select whether to use automatic updating or individual entry, and click Next.
  3. If you selected automatic updating:
    1. Make selections to build your list of records to process, then click Next.
    2. To assign different dates and exception years to each catechist, select the first option. Or, to assign the same information to your entire list, select the second option, and enter the date and number of exception years. Click Next.
  4. If you selected individual entry:
    1. Enter the date and number of exception years, select a catechist, and click Add Catechist to List
    2. Repeat this for each record you want to process. When you're finished, click Next.
  5. Review your list. If needed, add or edit any dates or exception years. When you're ready to post to the selected records, click Next.
  6. To post, click Finish.
