Enter Private and Confidential Personnel Information

You can enter private and confidential information on personnel records. Private information includes citizenship status, Social Security or Social Insurance number, birth date, hire date, termination date (if applicable), and more. Enter any other confidential information you want to include in the Confidential window.

  1. On the Personnel tab, click All Personnel or the appropriate personnel section then Private.
  2. Locate the appropriate record.
  3. Enter any information you want to include.
    Note: You can set each user's access rights to this information. On the Administration tab, click Users & Passwords > Access and Privileges. There is a program level under Personnel for the Private Window and for Social Security Number.
  4. At the top, click Save.
  5. On the Personnel tab, click All Personnel or the appropriate personnel section then Confidential.
  6. Enter any information you want to include.
  7. Select Very Confidential if you want to restrict the information to only users who have rights to very confidential information.
    Note: You can set each user's access rights to this information. On the Administration tab, click Users & Passwords > Access and Privileges. There is a program area under Personnel for Confidential and for Very Confidential.
  8. At the top, click Save.
