Families

Import Family Information

If you need to move a family from one program's data set to another, you can use the export and import features.

Import a family to create a new family using the information from a text file.

  1. On the Information tab, click Families > Import Family.
  2. Browse to the location, and select the file of the family you want to import.
    Note: If you exported the family in another PDS program, the file is saved by default in your program's Data folder with the family's last name as the file name.
  3. Click Use/OK.
