Remove Users from Security Roles

  • You must be a SPoC to do this.

Remove Users from a Security Role to revoke their permissions the Security Role grants. For example, if you have a staff member moving from the Contributions team to the Event Management team, you can remove their Contributions team Security Role rights so they can't manage contribution information.

  1. In the navigation menu, click Administration > Security Roles.
  2. Open the Security Role.
  3. Click the Users tab.
  4. Select the User(s) you want to remove from this Security Role.
  5. Click the Actions button and select Delete.
  6. If there are no dependent records, click Delete.
  7. Click OK to confirm deletion.

The User(s) no longer have permissions this Security Role grants.

There may be additional steps if there are dependent records.
