Security Role Fields
- Role Name
- Name to describe the rights this security role provides.
- Description
- Details on the rights this security role provides.
- Mass Email Quota
- The maximum number of recipients a user with this security role can send an email to from the Platform at one time. If set to 0, users with this role can't send emails (unless they have another security role that allows it). For more information, see Email & Text Quotas.
- Mass Text Quota
- The maximum number of recipients a user with this security role can send a text message to from the Platform at one time. If set to 0, users with this role can't send texts (unless they have another security role that allows it). For more information, see Email & Text Quotas.
- Security Role Type
- The category of security role. Types include Job Function, Custom/Individual, Team/Development, and so on.
- Texting Override
- Indicates whether a user with this security role can send texts to people who have opted out of text messages. Note that some recipients may not receive the text message, even if you override their preference. MinistryPlatform will send the text message to Twilio with all of the intended recipients. Twilio then filters out anyone who has opted out in their system (for example, if they replied with the keyword STOP). This feature should only be used in emergency situations where it's critical to get information to people quickly via text message, including those who have asked not to be texted. This permission should only be granted to individuals who can be trusted not to misuse this feature.
