Explicitly Secured Actions

  • Some actions are highly specific and very powerful.
  • Explicitly Secured Actions are page-specific security options. For instance, having the right to attach an image to a Contact record does not automatically allow a user to attach an image to a household record.
  • They are explicitly assigned to Security Roles that can be selectively applied to users who need to perform those actions.
  • Explicitly Secured Actions include:
    • Export
    • Attach Files
    • Secure Records

Export

Users with a Security Role granting them this privilege can export one or more records from a page into a Comma Delimited file or another supported file type. Read permission is required.

Attach

Users with a Security Role granting them this privilege can upload files including images associating them with specific records on a page. This right also allows users to delete files attached to records. Read permission is required.

Secure

Users with a security role granting them this privilege can hide records on a page from other users. Read permission is required. Read more on this feature here.
