A batch is a group of gifts, typically entered on the same day.

You must create a batch before you can enter gifts. You can reconcile your entries with your manual gift count.

Create as many batches as you need and for any event: a Sunday offering, a youth car wash, a stewardship drive, etc. You can also scan checks into your batches using any of our supported check readers for Realm.

Amounts listed on the Contributions page are color-coded as follows:

• Amount Entered displays red if you receive less than the Expected Amount.
• Amount Entered also displays red if you receive more than the Expected Amount.
• If no Expected Amount is entered, "–" displays. Amount Entered is always green as a result.
• If the Expected Amount and Amount Entered match, Amount Entered displays green.
