Your Giving and Pledge Form Embeds
How do the giving and pledge form embeds work? Here's what you need to know!
How does the embed work for your website?
Before you release your form into the world, you're presented with a direct link and a code that you can embed into your church's website. What do each of these do?
How does the embed work for Refresh websites?
Refresh websites work differently because there isn't a pledge form widget to embed your form.
To set this up, put the form behind a clickable button. You can display this button on your website where contributors can find it. When contributors click the button, it will take them away from your website to the giving form.
What to do...
If you use a content management system (CMS) like WordPress®, you or your web designer needs to set up the direct link on your giving webpage. Make sure your organization follows PCI guidelines and your website is secure before you embed your form.
Once the link is ready, add a custom HTML block to the same page under the direct link. If you're embedding a giving form, paste the embed code from Realm into this HTML block.
Not all CMS's are the same, so if you use one other than WordPress, work with your web designer to decide how you want to display your link and offer online giving to your contributors.
