The following fields are used by all Steps:

• Step Type: What this Process does.
• Step Name: A short description that displays in any task associated with this step.
• Instructions: Instructions that display in the body of any task associated with this step.
• Escalation Only: This step is skipped and invoked only when another step exceeds the task deadline.
• Order: The numerical order of this step related to other steps in this process (as in, step one, step two, and so on). In a single-step process, this value should be one.
• Escalate to Step: If the deadline passes for a task created by this step, select the step to which it should escalate.
• Task Deadline: The deadline in hours to complete this task. The start of the task should be when you created it, and the system calculates the end date based on this value. If there is no Deadline specified, the Task End Date will be five days after the Task Start Date.
