Addresses
- Every Address entered into the system is kept in .
- Addresses can be connected to a Household, Location, or Group.
- The best way to change an Address for an individual or family is using the Add/Edit Family Tool.
Address Fields
- Address Line 1
- First line of the Address.
- Address Line 2
- If applicable, enter the P.O. Box, apartment number, suite number, or other necessary address information.
- Country Code
- The 2- or 3-letter code that represents the country. For example, "US" or "USA" for addresses in the United States.
- Latitude and Longitude
- The latitude and longitude of this address. These fields must be entered to display in the Map Record Insight, Widgets, and CareLife. These may be updated by the Map My Selection tool.
- Bar Code
- The Intelligent Mail Barcode used on US mailings. This may be used with a scanner at check-in.
- Area Code
- The three-digit phone area code associated with this address. This may be used by third party applications for creating labels.
- Validated
- Indicates whether this address has been validated. It's updated by the Melissa Data Address Validation integration.
- Do Not Validate
- If you don't want this specific address to be validated using the Melissa Data Address Validation integration, select Yes. This is not common but may be necessary for certain addresses that are incorrectly deemed as invalid.
View Changes to an Address
- Open the Household record.
- Click the jump link next to the Address field.
- Expand the Audit Log to see all changes.
Delete Addresses
However, if you need to clean up one or more unused Address records, you can delete them.
- Go to .
- Clear any current/unsaved selection.
- In the View drop-down list, select Addresses Not In Use.
- Select the records.
- In the selection drop-down list, change it to current/unsaved selection to show only the records you want to delete.
- Click Delete.
- Review any dependencies, and confirm the deletion.
