Create a Personal View From an Existing View

Instructions to copy a current view to create, edit, and manage views.

  • You must have access to page views to do this.

It may save you time to copy an existing view rather than starting from scratch. For example, you might create an "Anniversary Next Month" view to see any upcoming congregant anniversaries and have a monthly celebration luncheon. To do this, you could copy the "Birthday Next Month" view and replace the Birthday field with the Anniversary field.

Note: Be sure to check the field list, view clause, and order by fields before you change anything.
  1. In the navigation menu, click System Setup > Page Views.
  2. Find and open the view.
  3. From the Actions menu, select Copy.
  4. Optional: Select what sub page data to copy, if any, and whether you want to also copy the attached files.

  6. Click Edit Record.
