PocketPlatform - Released September 24, 2024
We're continuing to expand our StudioC integration and improve other areas of the app. These changes were pushed to the app stores starting September 24.
Custom Forms
- Fixed an issue where users could not submit a form if a Form Field was required and had conditional logic to show or hide the field.
- Fixed an issue where users could not submit a form if an Instructions Form Field was required.
- Fixed an issue where fields that had Is Hidden set to Yes were still displaying in PocketPlatform.
Dashboard
- PocketPlatform now supports StudioC "Interstitial" content, which is attached and linked from StudioC Messages. (This is a similar concept to the Detail screens in PocketPlatform.) Interstitial content can include a title, body, optional call-to-action button, as well as an optional photo, gif, or video at the top of the screen. This saves you from having to create a separate webpage for the information you want to share!
- When you add two or more buttons to an announcement, they now display on the dashboard with a little more space in between them.
- In StudioC Messages, you have the ability to poll your users. Now, our integration supports those polls and shows the results once the user submits their response.

Events
- Fixed an issue where an Option Price was still available in the app after the maximum quantity was reached. Now, when the maximum number of registrants have selected this option, the Product Option is hidden and cannot be selected.
- Fixed an issue where Option Prices with a negative value, such as Early Bird discounts, were not being sent over to the payment vendor.
- Fixed a rare issue where users could submit improperly formatted forms. We've corrected our form validation.
Filter Menus
- We enhanced our Filter menus so the text is easier to read in dark mode. This applies to the Events List, Opportunities List, Groups List, and Groups Map screens.
Giving
- Fixed an issue where users were unable to scroll the giving screen to view all the instructional text and the Give button if they had set the text on their device to be very large. This only affected your users if you use MP eGiving or alternative giving screens.
Group Chat
- Have you ever shared a great resource (or even a funny YouTube video) with your small group, only to have them reply that they can't click the link? Now, it's easier than ever to open the link! We enhanced the text rendering in Group Chat messages to automatically detect URLs and convert them into links. We also made some improvements to help with formatting text.Note: Security in Group Chats is of utmost importance, so this enhancement is optional and disabled by default. Push Notifications
- Fixed an issue for Android users where push notifications did not properly display the preview text on the lock screen's notification panel.
