Create a Notification for a View

There are many ways to configure Item Notifications, and they can serve a variety of needs. This example demonstrates how to create an Item Notification for the contents of a view.

  1. On the relevant page, select any view except All Records.
  2. From the Actions menu, select Notification.
  3. Under Items to watch..., make sure Contents of view and the view are selected.
  4. By default, you receive the notification, but you can select Group members or a Template if needed.
  5. Select an existing schedule or create a new one.
  6. Add a compelling subject line so you open the email when it hits your inbox.
  7. Click Save.
