Create a Notification for the Current Record

There are many ways to configure Item Notifications, and they can serve a variety of needs. This example demonstrates how to create an Item Notification for a specific record.

  1. Locate and open the record.
  2. From the Actions menu, select Notification.
  3. Under Items to watch..., make sure Current record is selected.
  4. By default, you receive the notification, but you can select a User Group or Template if needed.
  5. To receive a notification when someone updates the record, click Set frequency of notifications and select Immediately when updated. Or, you can use a schedule.
  6. Click Save.
