Journeys and Milestones
- A Milestone is an important date or accomplishment by a church participant/member. This important date/accomplishment has meaning many months and years after it takes place. It may be a prerequisite for other accomplishments/milestones.
- Common Milestones include: salvation decision, baptism, church membership date, and approved to serve.
- A Journey is a collection of Milestones.
- Common Journeys include: spiritual formation, assimilation, application to serve.
- You can create your own Journeys and Milestones based on your church contact. Not sure where to start? Consider these examples:
- For baptism, you may have a Journey called "Baptism", with Milestones of "Baptism Needed", "Baptism Class", "Baptism Interview", "Baptism Testimony", and "Baptism Service".
- For church membership, you may have a Journey called "Membership", with Milestones of "Membership Class", "Membership Interview", "Signed Church Covenant", and "Membership Service".
- Journeys and Milestones are often used to track guests through the assimilation process. You can view who has which Milestone by going to either:
- Milestones page > open the Milestone > Participants tab.
- People Lists > Milestones Assigned.
