GiveCentral

GiveCentral is a multi-platform online donation tool that helps small to mid-size nonprofits with their fundraising and donor management efforts. This integration pushes donations made through GiveCentral into the Platform as they process. Admins can then create Batches and Deposits from the Platform to complete processing donations.

Note: GiveCentral does not offer an auto-batching feature. However, our Professional Services team can create auto-batching for GiveCentral for an additional cost. Contact Support to receive an estimate.

Field Mapping

Image displaying the field mapping chart. GiveCentral fields are in the left column and MinistryPlatform fields are in the right column.

GiveCentral also sends all user information like name, email address, and so on into the Donation notes section.

Cost

There is no charge from ACS Technologies for configuring the integration.

Fees from GiveCentral are assessed as per each church's individual contract agreement.

Donor Matching

When a new donor gives, GiveCentral receives the donor ID from MinistryPlatform. This eliminates any manual work you have to do to match payments with records!

If there is no match, the donation is applied to ***Default, Contact. The transaction details contain all of the donation information, including the name and email to help the admin assign the donation to the proper donor. You can then go Tools > Assign Donor to assign and create donors.

Pledges

When a donor makes a pledge through GiveCentral, it's sent to MinistryPlatform in a manner that allows the subsequent payments to associate automatically. If you'd like to do this, you can work with GiveCentral. They'll need the following information:
  • Congregation ID (if you're a diocese)
  • Campaign IDs
  • Donor IDs

In some cases, GiveCentral can upload this information from a file, so be sure to contact them for assistance with pledges.
