If you use The StudioC Member Engagement Solution (MES), you can display tailored content for users in PocketPlatform through dashboard recipes. Some items you can include on the dashboard are the user avatar, badges, personal and/or news messages, user information and household members, user connections, and external links. For all the details, see The StudioC Dashboard in PocketPlatform.

When a customer is ready to add The StudioC to their PocketPlatform app, you can help them complete the necessary steps.
Note: This process may change as we onboard more customers and work with The StudioC dev team.
  1. After the customer signs up for StudioC, they go through an onboarding process with The StudioC to get their MP connection set up and running.
  2. Once that's complete, StudioC sets up API credentials on their system for PocketPlatform to use. These credentials must be added to the Customer Config > StudioC Config in the Admin Panel. It's two datapoints: username and password.
  3. After credentials are added, it should be possible to add StudioC recipes to the customer's dashboard.
Note: The customer must be using the API-driven dashboard, not the Stored Proc-driven dashboard.
    The StudioC recipes include:
    • userGoals – The typeId is typically set to 1 for StudioC. The optional footerHelperTextLabel displays text below the badges (such as "Tap to learn more"); you must create this text label in the language packs since there's no default value.
    • studioCMessages
    • userInfo – The userGoalTypeId is typically set to 2 for StudioC.
    • congregationOfRecordInfo
Tip: When a customer is already live in the app stores, we recommend setting The StudioC recipes to only display to specific users on the dashboard. In the Admin Panel, you can specify a whitelist of users who can view that recipe.
  4. The customer may also want to include links on their dashboard to replicate the "My Links" section in The StudioC. There isn't a recipe for this, but you can add a card with the heading "My Links", along with buttons that link to the specified URLs.
