Cost
There is no charge from ACS Technologies for configuring the integration.
Fees from Active Screening Faith are assessed as per each church's individual contract agreement.
Resources
Step 1: Integration Sign-Up
- Fill out the Sign Up Form.
- Choose the packages you want to configure. See the complete list of supported packages. The integration doesn't support any other packages. The Active Screening Faith website details other options.
Step 2: MinistryPlatform Preparation
Once your sign-up is complete, you'll receive an API username and password. Save this information in the Platform to keep the username and password secure.
- In the navigation menu, click .
- Click New API Client.
- For Display Name, enter Active Screening Faith.
- For the Client ID, enter the username you received.
- For the Client Secret, enter the password you received.
- Click Save.
Step 3: Integration Setup
- Open a case with Support (or respond if one is already open) that includes:
- A link to the API Client record.
- A list of packages you want set up. (We will only set up the packages you want. Please use exact package names.)
- Pause. At this point, we must set up your integration. Our team will notify you when it's completed!
Step 4: Review and Testing
Review the Initial Setup sections for these components of the integration and customize as needed:
Step 5: Test Submission
Create a test submission to ensure the integration works as currently configured.
- Select a Contact (for testing purposes, it is best to use a real person, such as yourself).
- Open the Background Check tool.
- Create a Background Check.
- Click Fill Out Form to view the form.
- Complete and submit the form.
You'll receive an acknowledgment on the form page that you submitted it successfully.
