Cancel a Registration Event

You can cancel a registration event.

  • Only available to administrators and users who have the Manage Events permission.

You can cancel a registration event from the Upcoming section. If the event already has registrants, you can send an email to registrants to notify them of the cancellation.

If this is a paid event that already has registrants, you will need to refund payments to the event.

When you cancel a public registration event that you shared to the newsfeed, this will remove it from the newsfeed. You must cancel the event from the non-Connect events list to automatically remove it from the newsfeed.

Note:
  • When you cancel a registration event, it can't be reinstated.
  • You can run a custom questions report for a canceled event by going to the Events tab of Reporting > Predefined Reports. When you Edit and Run a Customs Questions report, select the Include canceled registrations option.
  1. In the top-left corner, click your ministry hub then Realm. Then click Registration Events > Upcoming.
  2. Click the ellipsis icon next to the event and select Cancel.
  3. If the event has registrants, check Send a notification email to all event registrants? to inform them of the cancellation.
  4. Click Cancel this event.
