Browser Compatibility

For best results, keep your browser updated to the latest version. We recommend using the latest version of any of the following internet browsers:

  • Chrome
  • Firefox
  • Microsoft Edge
  • Safari

Not sure you're using the latest browser? Go to whatsmybrowser.org/ to find out.

CAUTION: Operating Systems Some older operating systems cannot use the latest browser versions. If your operating system cannot use the latest version of your browser, update the operating system first. This will give you access to the best features in Realm and help ensure your security on the Internet. Out-of-date operating systems and browsers are far more vulnerable to attacks. We no longer support IE (Internet Explorer) for this reason.
Note: Some third party apps may have compatibility issues when opening Realm links. For the best experience, use one of the recommended browsers listed above.

Can I Use the Tab Key on Macs?

If you're using a Mac and prefer to use the Tab key to navigate fields and hyperlinks in modals, you need to enable tabbing in each browser to use. Any changes to your preferences will save automatically. See Enable Tabbing in Your Browser.

Enable Tabbing in Your Browser

If you're having trouble tabbing through fields in your browser, it's because tabbing has not been enabled.

Many people find that data entry is faster using the tab key instead of a mouse. However, tabbing is not always turned on in our internet browsers. Here's how you can enable tabbing in each browser you use.

  1. Enable tabbing in Safari.
    1. Click Safari > Preferences.
    2. Under the Advanced tab, select Press Tab to highlight each item on a webpage.
  2. Enable tabbing in Chrome.
    1. Click Chrome > Preferences. Then click Show advanced settings...
    2. Under Web Content, select Pressing Tab on a webpage highlights links, as well as form fields.
  3. Enable tabbing in Firefox.
    1. Click the Mac apple icon then System Preferences. Then click Keyboard.
    2. Under the Shortcuts tab, select All controls.
