You can manage information about your church account and profile, and view billing invoices. If needed, you can additional features to Realm.

Your Church Profile

Enter information about your church and toggle settings that impact your Realm site.

You'll store unique information about your church on the Account Summary page. When you purchased or converted to Realm, it's very likely that your onboarding specialist set up specific information, such as site number and package type. He or she may have also walked you through entering your address and other contact information. If any of this information changes or you want to fill out your profile more completely, you can return to this page to make modifications.

One of the most important settings on this page to understand is the Invitation Model setting. There are three invitation models:

  • The Invite Only model provides you with the most oversight. With invite only, congregants can join Realm only by invitation sent from authorized users. With Invite + Realm Account Sign Up Requests, individuals can also send a request to create a new account.

  • The Open invitation model allows visitors to your website or visitors with your customized Realm URL (onrealm.org/yourchurchnamehere) a way to create a login on their own. When using this model, you do not need to invite people in, but you do have a responsibility to educate your flock about their personal privacy settings. You'll also want to monitor your activity dashboard on a daily basis to see who has signed up. Warning: When in edit mode, you can select to allow online visitors to your church website to automatically register for a Realm account. We recommend the "open invitation" model be used for limited periods of time. The open invitation model is NOT required for giving or event registration.

The information stored on your profile page is viewed by your congregants throughout your site. For this reason, it's a good idea to fill it out as completely as possible and keep the information current. Settings you change here can also impact the behavior of your site.

View and Update Your Profile or Location

Your site ID (shown on this page) is also referenced by our support team if you call for assistance.

  1. Sign in as an administrator.
  2. In the top-left corner, click your ministry hub then System Settings. Then click Account Summary.
  3. Next to Church Profile, click the ellipsis icon and select Edit Info.
  4. Update each field as needed.
    Note: The church name is limited to 50 characters.
  5. Click Save.

Create or Change Your URL

Where people come to find you online.

You must be an administrator to do this.

Use this feature to create a custom URL for your Realm site. While having a customer URL has many advantages, your staff and congregants can also sign into your site at onrealm.org. Once signed in, the browser will display your custom URL.
Tip: If you use the open-invitation model, but want to set up a web page that doesn't display the "Register Now" link, use the more generic onrealm.org URL on this page. See Invitation Models.
  1. Sign in as an administrator.
  2. In the top-left corner, click your ministry hub then System Settings. Then click Account Summary.
  3. Next to Church Profile, click the ellipsis icon and select Edit Info.
  4. Scroll to the bottom of the page.
  5. Enter your preferred URL and click Check Availability.
  6. Once you find a name that's not in use, click Save.

View Site Number and Package

Know where to find your site number and version.

You must be an administrator to do this.

Your site number comes in handy when communicating with our support team. Your subscription package determines which features you have access to.

  1. Sign in as an administrator.
  2. In the top-left corner, click your ministry hub then System Settings. Then click Account Summary.
  3. Note the highlighted box to the right of your Church Profile information. This lists your Realm package and whether you have the accounting package.
  4. You can also look for the green icon in the lower-left corner of any Realm window.

If you're not sure which plan you have, look for the green icon in the lower-left corner of any Realm window. You can also see which accounting package you have.

Billing

Check your Realm invoice.

You must have admin permissions to view invoices. For more, see Responsibilities.

You can view your church's invoices from Realm. Currently, there is no method for printing the onscreen invoice, other than to use your browser's print feature. But this ability is being planned for the future.

  1. Sign in as an administrator.
  2. In the top-left corner, click your ministry hub then System Settings. Then click Billing.
  3. Click an Invoice # to display billing details.
  4. If you have a long list of invoices, you can click the filter icon and narrow the list based on date.

Add New Services

There are a number of services that integrate with Realm to make your administrative tasks more efficient. In some cases, these rely on trusted partnerships between ACS Technologies and other vendors.

You can find and manage these services. In the top-left corner, click your ministry hub then Realm. Then click Settings > Additional Features.

  • Synchronize your Constant Contact account with Realm.
  • Manage your online giving merchant account.
  • Set up check scanning.
  • Integrate background checks run through Verified First.
  • Subscribe to MinistrySmart Staff Pass for product and ministry training.
