Test a Schedule

You can schedule in test mode to run schedules without changing Last Served dates. It's a good way to see what happens without affecting your program data.

When adding a schedule, select Schedule Test Mode. Then continue the scheduling process as normal.

The Add a Schedule window showing the option for Schedule Test Mode selected

Once you run the scheduling process in Test Mode and save the schedules, you can view them in the Scheduled Weeks window by selecting Show Test Schedules. The test schedule assignments aren't added to the ministers' History of Assignments unless you make the test schedule permanent.

Make a Test Schedule Permanent

If your test schedule looks the way you want it to, you can make it permanent.

  1. On the Information tab, click Schedules > Scheduled Weeks.
  2. Select Show Test Schedules if it isn't already selected.
  3. Click Make Test Permanent.
  4. Select the test schedule(s) you want to make permanent.
  5. Click Change/OK.
  6. Click Yes to confirm.

The assignments are added to the ministers' History of Assignments window.
