Modify a Scheduled Mass

Once you schedule masses, you may find that you need to add or remove positions for a mass, or add or remove a mass from the schedule.

You can modify a schedule from either the Scheduled Weeks window or the Week Detail window.

Add New Ministry Positions

  1. On the Information tab, click Schedules > Week Detail.
  2. Locate the schedule you want to modify.
  3. Click Modify Scheduled Mass.
  4. Select Add new ministry positions to an existing mass, and click Next.
  5. For each mass, enter the number of new positions to add for each ministry. If you don't need to add positions for a mass or ministry, leave the field blank.
  6. Click Add, then click Yes to confirm.
  7. Click OK.

The positions are added as <Unfill Position> to the appropriate ministries and masses.

Add a Mass

  1. On the Information tab, click Schedules > Week Detail.
  2. Locate the schedule you want to modify.
  3. Click Modify Scheduled Mass.
  4. Select Add a new mass, and click Next.
  5. If there are any masses within the schedule range that are not included on the current schedule, you can select it from the list. Otherwise, click Add New Mass to create a mass.
  6. If you create a mass, enter the details then click Save > Close.
  7. Select the mass(es) you want to add to this schedule, and click Add, then click Yes to confirm.
  8. Click OK.

The mass(es) are added to the schedule with unfilled positions.

Delete Ministry Positions

  1. On the Information tab, click Schedules > Week Detail.
  2. Locate the schedule you want to modify.
  3. Click Modify Scheduled Mass.
  4. Select Delete ministry positions for a mass, and click Next.
  5. For each mass, select which positions to delete for each ministry. If you don't want to delete positions for a mass or ministry, leave the checkbox cleared.
  6. Click Delete, then click Yes to confirm.
  7. Click OK.

Any filled and unfilled positions are removed from this schedule. This does not affect positions on other scheduled weeks or the positions in the mass setup.

Remove a Mass

  1. On the Information tab, click Schedules > Week Detail.
  2. Locate the schedule you want to modify.
  3. Click Modify Scheduled Mass.
  4. Select Remove a mass from this schedule, and click Next.
  5. Select the mass(es) you want to remove from this schedule.
  6. Click Remove, then click Yes to confirm.
  7. Click OK.

The mass(es) and all related positions are removed from this schedule. This does not affect masses on other scheduled weeks or the mass(es) themselves.
