The StudioC Dashboard in PocketPlatform

If you've integrated with The StudioC, you can display tailored content for app users through a dashboard. The best part is, your users only need to log in once (to PocketPlatform) to see dashboard content from The StudioC.

Choose whether to link out to The StudioC Dashboard or, better yet, pull The StudioC content into your app! You can replicate your StudioC web interface entirely within PocketPlatform, or mix and match recipes to customize the dashboard.

Here's a summary of the recipes you can include on the dashboard.

Avatar and Badges

The first thing users see on their dashboard is their user avatar and badges. The avatar image and name are pulled from the User record in MinistryPlatform. Badges display in your app's brand color and will show up as soon as the user achieves them. Users can tap a badge to see details and an optional call-to-action link.
  • User Avatar is available through the userAvatarWelcom recipe.
  • Badges are available through the userGoals recipe.
Tip: Badges are also available for use with Platform milestones, so you can include them on your dashboard even if you are not integrated with The StudioC.

Messages and Polls

You can share announcements and news items through the StudioC messages. Any included buttons display in your app's brand color. And GIFs are supported so you can liven up your messages! Note that messages with polls or embedded videos are supported! The StudioC categorizes messages into two types: personal and news. On the dashboard, you can choose to display either one of these or both.
  • My Messages are available through the studioCMessages recipe.

Info and Connections

Users can see their own information as well as the information for their congregation. Both of these sections pull information directly from MinistryPlatform in real time.
  • The My Info card is available through the userInfo recipe.
  • The My Connections card is available through the congregationOfRecord recipe.
Tip: Both of these cards pull information from the Platform, so you can include them on your dashboard even if you are not integrated with The StudioC.

Interstitial Content

PocketPlatform supports StudioC "Interstitial" content, which is attached and linked from StudioC Messages. (This is a similar concept to the Detail screens in PocketPlatform.) Interstitial content can include a title, body, optional call-to-action button, as well as an optional photo, gif, or video at the top of the screen. This saves you from having to create a separate webpage for the information you want to share!

Links

You can use special links that open a PocketPlatform screen or a widget page on your website. For example, you may want to show a link to an FAQ, donation form, prayer request, or social media page.
  • Contact Support to set up links on the PocketPlatform dashboard.
