Add a Discount
Create a discount that is automatically applied to applicants based on their team member type.
- You must be a Go Method admin to do this.
Give certain applicants a discount to go on your trip based on their team member type. For example, your organization is going on an international mission trip to provide medical care to those in need. You can create a team member type for medical personnel and assign a discount to the medical personnel team member type as a thanks for their service. Now when medical personnel apply for the trip, they automatically receive the discounted rate.
You can either add a discount in step three of the event creation process or go to the event's details tab, scroll to the discounts section, and click Manage Discounts.
- Click Add Discount.
- Enter a name for the discount.
- In the Discount Amount section, establish the discount amount.
- To discount a specific dollar amount, click Amount and enter the dollar amount you want to discount in the field provided.
- To discount a specific percentage, click Percentage and enter the percentage amount you want to discount in the field provided.
- In the Active Dates section, select whether there is a date limit for the discount.
- If there is no date limit for the discount, click No.
- If there is a date limit for the discount, click Yes and enter the Start Date and End Date range for the discount.
- In the Member Types section, select the team member types you want to apply the discount to. You must select at least one member type.
- Click Save Discount.
