Event Templates
Use an event template as a guide when creating an event. Event templates save time when creating new events and event requests.
For example, your organization sponsored a youth mission trip last year. After the trip, you realized the participants would've benefited from knowing how strenuous the activity level would be ahead of time. Now that it's time to start planning for the next youth mission trip, you want to use the exact same event page as last year's trip, but you want to add a custom field to let your applicants know what the activity level will be for this new mission trip.
Instead of cloning and editing the event each year, create an event template that includes the new custom field. Then, select your custom event template when you create or request events going forward. Event templates save these custom fields for every new event that uses the template; where starting a new event from scratch or cloning an old event does not.
