Sub-Page Views
Learn more about sub-page (tab) views, including how to create a sub-page view and sub-page view fields you'll encounter and what they mean.
Sub-page (tab) views display in sub-pages in the rows of tabs. Most information regarding page views is also true for sub-page views.
Create a Sub-Page View
- In the navigation menu, click .
- Click New Sub Page View.
- Complete the fields.
- Click Save.
Sub-Page View Fields
The following fields are available in the Sub-Page Views page.
- View Title
- The title of the view, which displays in sub-page view drop-down list.
- Sub Page
- The sub-page this view is associated with.
- Description
- An optional description.
- Field List
- List of fields. Leave this blank to use the defaults for the target page.
- View Clause
- The SQL filter for the view. This is the WHERE clause without the "WHERE" keyword.
- Order By
- The SQL sort order. This is the ORDER BY clause without the "ORDER BY" keywords.
- User
- If a user is listed, this a personal view only available to the user.
- Messaging View
- If set to Yes, this view displays in the recipients list of the New Message Tool.
Set a Default Sub-Page View
Instructions to set a specific page view as the default page view for a specific sub-page in MinistryPlatform.
- You must be an administrator or SPoC to do this.
- The default view must be a sub-page view selected in the sub-page.
- The default view cannot be a shared view; it must be a system-wide view.
- In the navigation menu, click .
- Click to open the sub-page you want to add the default sub-page view to.
- Click Edit Record.
- In the Filtering Options section, select the sub-page view from the Default View field.
- Click Save.
