Before you create groups in Realm, plan your group structure.

1. On paper, list all of the existing groups at your church.
2. Combine the groups into logical categories.
3. Give each primary category a name. These names will serve as your top-level ministry areas.
4. Divide into secondary categories if needed.

   Things to Know

   If you're trying to plan for future growth, you might want to divide your categories further. These secondary groupings will become secondary ministry areas. If necessary, you can subdivide again and again.
