Create a Group Type

Create group types to organize your groups.

  • To create and use group types, you must be an administrator or have the permission Add/Edit Groups set to Allow in at least one of your responsibilities.

Group types let administrators categorize similar groups together. You can have a maximum of 12 group types.

  1. In the top-left corner, click your ministry hub then Realm. Then click Groups > Settings.
  2. Click Add a Group Type.
  3. Enter a Group Type such as "Seniors" or "Bible Study".
  4. If needed for clarification, enter a Description for the group.
  5. Click Add.
