Manage Bank Accounts

Are you using the same bank but at a different address or need to associate additional cash accounts? Edit a bank's information except the type of account it is. If a bank account is no longer in use and is not currently associated with any unreconciled transactions, delete it.

You must have accounting administrator permissions to perform this task.
  1. Click Accounting > Ledger Setup > Bank Accounts.
  2. Click the ellipsis icon beside a bank account and select one of the following:
    • Edit— The bank account's type cannot change.
    • Delete— You cannot delete a bank account associated with any unreconciled transactions.
  3. If you edit, make any necessary changes, and click Save. If you delete, click Delete again to confirm.
