Cash Flow Setup
Set up and rearrange the accounts and activities that display on your cash flow statement.
Your Statement of Cash Flows, also known as the sources and uses of funds, shows the change in cash accounts for a specific time period. Changes are categorized by operating, investing, or financing activities with subcategories within each list.
Before you set up this statement, each of your accounts are automatically associated with the appropriate activity. This organization is based on the account type you selected when you created each core account. For any new core accounts added to the chart of accounts, you will manually designate a cash flow line. You can rearrange those accounts and associate them with other activities as you see fit. You can also split your activities to show debit and credit columns for certain accounts.
You can find and print the Statement of Cash Flows by clicking then the Accounting tab.
