Volunteer Schedules
A brief overview on volunteer schedules in MinistryPlatform, including fields you'll encounter and what they mean.
When a coordinator creates a schedule in Volunteer Connect (even if it hasn't been published yet), MinistryPlatform adds a schedule record for each event date. This record includes all the details of the volunteer schedule for the event.
Schedule Fields
- Schedule Name
- The name entered in Volunteer Connect to describe the schedule.
- Event
- The event selected in relation to this schedule.
- Schedule Status
- This field indicates whether the schedule is in draft, has been published, or has been archived.
- Group
- The volunteer group associated with this schedule.
- Coordinator
- The person selected in Volunteer Connect as being responsible for this schedule and its volunteers.
- Allow Volunteer Signup
- This field indicates whether volunteers can sign up for open serving times that are applicable to their role(s) on published schedules in Volunteer Connect.
- Reminder Sent
- This field indicates whether Volunteer Connect has sent the reminder notification to volunteers.
