Check-In Options

Clean Screen Option

To clean your screen between check-ins, you can configure your kiosk screen to "lock" for eight seconds between each check in. If configured, a Clean Screen button appears in the bottom corner of the check-in screen. If you select the Clean Screen button:

  • The touchscreen disables for eight seconds.
  • A countdown timer displays.
  • At the end of the countdown, the screen returns to the check-in screen and the touchscreen re-enables.
  • The Clean Screen button uses the Button C Theme settings.
  • If configured, the Clean Screen button appears in both Attended and Unattended Modes.
Note: The Clean Screen option defaults to Yes. To disable the Clean Screen option, go to Administration > Configuration Settings and set CIM, ShowCleanScreen to No.

Notes about Check-In Kiosk

Each church must determine how it handles the following specific situations that occur during normal use of the Check‐In Kiosk:

  • Add a new family visiting the church for the first time.
  • Find an existing family that did not appear in the search results.
  • Update information on an existing person or family. For example, a phone number or email address.
  • Add individuals to an existing family. For example, a new baby.
  • Add an out‐of‐town guest visiting one time.
  • Add an existing participant to a new Group.
