Customize General Settings and Publish

Set the name or URL of your public engagement page so that it reflects your church or parish, upload your organization's logo, and show or hide the homepage to the general public.

  • You must be a Go Method admin to do this.
General settings apply to your entire public engagement site.
  1. Click Admin > Settings.
  2. In the left menu, click Public Home, then click General.
  3. In the Name field, enter the name of your organization. For example "yourchurch-servingtogether" will result in a public URL of "https://www.yourchurch-servingtogether.gomethod.app/!/".
  4. Toggle the public engagement page as Active or Inactive. Setting it as Active makes the home page visible to the public.
  5. Optional: Add an introduction to the public engagement page.
  6. Upload a logo or a 400px wide image using your brand's colors. This image will display across the top of your website as a colored header.
  7. Click Save Changes.

Your website is now active. Click Public URLs to view and copy/paste links to various sections of this website.

In addition to publishing the main public engagement page, you can also publish specific pages to manage activities, outreach partners, and groups, and events.
