Reports

A brief overview of reports in MinistryPlatform.

MinistryPlatform comes loaded with reports. We update, develop, and improve reports several times a year. More than half of the reports in MinistryPlatform integrate directly with a customizable selection of records. This means there are numerous reporting possibilities!

You can find reports related to the page you're on or the records you selected under the Reports menu. Reports with "Selected" in the name only pull results from your selection.

Here are a few things to keep in mind about reports:
  • Security roles determine the rights that people have to view and open specific reports. If someone can't access a report, you can add them to a security role that has that report listed on the Reports Permitted tab.
  • Need to see exactly which people can see a report (maybe one that contains confidential data)? From the Administration > Users page, run the User Permissions: Reports & Tools report.
  • Printing capabilities vary by browser. To print in any browser, click Save, download it in one of the listed file formats (such as a PDF), then print it from an application that can open the saved file.
  • A server administrator can log in to the SSRS Administration panel and change the default parameters for any report.
  • Professional Services can create custom reports for you. Or, you can create your own!
