With Group Management tools in PocketPlatform, your group leaders and members can engage, foster community, communicate, and dive deeper in their spiritual journey.

Note: In order for a group to show up in PocketPlatform, make sure you've set it up in the Platform.
Group Member Features
Any member of the group can see group information and manage their own privacy.
- View Members: View the name, photo, email address, and phone number for other group members. Email and phone links are actionable so you can quickly contact another group member.
- Contact Leader: Send an email directly to your group leader using a form within the app.
- Group Calendar: View a calendar of upcoming group meetings with date, time, and location.
- Manage Privacy: Manage the information you are comfortable sharing with other group members. This can include full name or first name only, photo, email address, and/or phone number.
- Group Communication: Communicate directly with your group by chatting inside the app.
Group Leader Features
The primary contact of the group and group members with a Group Role type of Leader can view and update group information. Since every church handles groups differently, see Set Up Your API for customization options.
- View Members: View the name, photo, email address, and phone number for group members. Email and phone links are actionable so you can quickly contact group members. If enabled, leaders can also edit a group member's info, upload a photo, change the group member's role, or remove a member from the group.
- Add a Group Member: Leaders can add new members to the group.
- Contact Members and Leaders: Leaders can select one or more members/leaders and send an email to all of them using a single form.
- Manage Inquiries: When enabled, leaders can view inquiries for their group, contact inquirers via email, and add inquirers directly to their group.
- Group Calendar: Leaders can manage their group's calendar of group meetings. This includes adding, editing, or, when enabled, canceling meetings.
- Take Attendance: Leaders can take attendance for a group meeting. Once a meeting is over, it no longer displays in PocketPlatform.
- Group Curriculum: Leaders can access group curriculum delivered through MinistryPlatform. Curriculum includes group leader instructions as well as links to videos, audio files, PDFs, and scripture.
- Manage Privacy: Manage the information you are comfortable sharing with group members. This can include full name or first name only, photo, email address, and/or phone number.
- Group Communication: Communicate directly with your group by chatting inside the app.
