Group Detail
Once someone clicks a group, they can see more details about it. Customize the Group Detail screen to meet your needs.
Image and Information
The image that's attached to the Group record in the Platform also displays in the app. If the Group record doesn't have an image attached, no image displays in the app.

- DescriptionTip: The app honors any HTML formatting entered for this field. For example, you may want to use line breaks to split up longer descriptions into paragraphs.
- Primary ContactNote: Want to hide the entire contact or just the contact's photo? Want to allow app users to click the contact's name to email them directly? Contact Support to add that functionality to your app.

Optional Buttons
There are a few buttons that you can show or hide (and rename!) on the Group Detail screen based on your needs. Contact Support for assistance with buttons in your app.
Sign Up: Allows app users to sign up for this group. When an app user clicks this button, a Group Participant record is automatically created for that individual in MinistryPlatform. If you prefer to manually handle group sign-up, you should hide this button.
Contact Group: Allows authenticated app users to send an inquiry or request to join the group. When clicked, a Group Inquiry record is created in MinistryPlatform, and the group leader is notified. You can also decide whether to enable the Comments field on the Group Inquiry Form so the individual can ask a question or provide more information.
Email Group Leaders: Allows app users to send a message to the group leader. When clicked, the individual can send an email to the group's primary contact. This does not create any records in the Platform.
