Group Maps
The groups map view offers a way to present your community and small group offerings to your congregation. You can configure your groups to see pins on the group map.
Add an Address to Your Group
If you're group is meeting off-site, like in someone's house, add that address to the Off-Site Address field in the Small Group Information section.
Determine the Latitude and Longitude
To add pins to your group map, you'll need to add the Latitude and Longitude to the Address Record. You can get the values for each address yourself, or the Geocoding Utility will add them for you.
- Go to Google Maps.
- Search for the address.
- Right-click the address.
- Click the Latitude & Longitude that displays to copy it.
- Add the values in PocketPlatform.
Add Latitude and Longitude
To add pins to your group map, you'll need to add the Latitude and Longitude you found to the Address Record.
- From the group record, click the jump link to the right of the address.
- Click Edit.
- Add the Latitude and Longitude.
- Click Save.
