Create Reference Questions

References can help verify a person's character, skills, history, and experience. It is important that you ask the right questions to ensure that person is the right person for the job - or, in this case, trip.

  • You must be a Go Method admin to do this.
  • You must have a reference question category set up.
  • You must have an individual type set up for reference questions.
Now that you set up individual types and categories, you can begin creating reference questions. Your reference questions are divided into the categories you created.
  1. In the top menu, click Events > References.
  2. In the left menu, click Questions.
  3. On the right, click Create Question.
  4. Select a question format from the drop-down menu.
  5. At the top, select a reference question category.

  6. Enter the question text and other required fields.
  7. To change the individual type of the question, click Change.
  8. Select the individual type(s) you want and click Update.
  9. Once complete, click Add Question.

Reference Question Answer Types

Reference questions have five different types. These different types have different available answers, so it is important for you to choose the appropriate question for your references.
